How to reschedule az 900 exam pearson vue & other azure Exam ?
How to reschedule az 900 exam pearson vue & other azure Exam follow the steps & the video
If you have booked the Microsoft AZ-900 exam, the next step depends on whether your appointment is still in the future or you already missed it because of a technical problem. The same guidance generally applies to other Microsoft certification exams delivered by Pearson VUE, but check the rules for your specific booking.
Important distinction: Changing a future appointment is a normal reschedule. If an exam was missed or interrupted, you must contact support and ask them to review the incident. Submitting proof does not guarantee a free replacement appointment.
Situation 1: Your exam has not started yet
Microsoft says to reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before the appointment. Otherwise, the exam fee or company-purchased voucher is forfeited under its policy.
- Sign in to your Microsoft Learn profile.
- Open Profile → Credentials → Certifications.
- Find your upcoming exam appointment and select Reschedule.
- You will be redirected to the exam delivery provider. Select an available date and time, finish the confirmation, and keep the confirmation email.
Official policy: Microsoft reschedule and cancellation rules.
Situation 2: You could not start or finish the exam
An internet outage, power failure, check-in problem, or OnVUE error after the deadline needs a support review. Do not describe this as an ordinary reschedule or promise readers that every case will be approved.
- If you are still in the exam session, use the available proctor/chat support and explain what happened. Record any case number they provide.
- Contact Pearson VUE for Microsoft exams through its current Microsoft certification support page. Use Contact us, live chat, or the support option shown for your region. In India, use the Asia-Pacific option. The menu may differ from older screenshots or videos.
- Give the exam name, scheduled date and time with time zone, your candidate or registration ID, and a clear timeline of the problem. Explain whether you checked in, spoke to a proctor, or received an error.
- Keep the case number and follow the instructions in the reply. Supply genuine evidence if requested: error screenshots, outage notifications, or a statement issued by your internet provider. Redact unrelated personal data before sharing or publishing screenshots.
- If the appointment or exam status remains unresolved, use Microsoft Credentials support and include the Pearson case number.
Microsoft directs candidates with exam delivery and scheduling issues to the exam delivery partner. Pearson’s current Microsoft page lists regional contact options; the old “Ask a Question” form in the 2023/2024 example may no longer be in the same place.
Example support request for a real internet outage
Subject: AZ-900 online exam interrupted on [date] — request for review
Dear Pearson VUE Support,
My AZ-900 exam was scheduled for [date and local time, including time zone]. My registration ID is [ID]. At approximately [time], [briefly describe exactly what happened]. I [state whether you checked in, contacted the proctor, retried, and what error appeared]. The issue prevented me from [starting/completing] the exam.
I request a review of my exam session and guidance on whether the appointment can be reset or another remedy is available. I can provide [list genuine evidence available]. Please let me know what documentation you need and the case number for this request.

Evidence note: If your internet provider confirms a service outage, ask the provider to issue its own accurate statement with the affected area and time. Do not create a letter on its behalf or claim an outage that you cannot substantiate. Send documents only through the support channel or address provided in your case response.
What happens next?
Support may send an acknowledgement, open a case, request more information, and review the exam record. A decision and timing depend on the case. The older personal example shown in the video describes one successful outcome; it is not a guaranteed three-to-five-day process or a general entitlement to a free reschedule.
If support approves a reset, follow its instructions to select another appointment and save the new confirmation. If the request is denied, ask what exam status was recorded and what options are available to book again.
Hindi video and older screenshots
You can watch my Hindi walkthrough of a past AZ-900 incident. It documents an individual experience. The contact-page layout and support rules may have changed since that recording, so use the current official links above for your own request.
If you include old screenshots in this article, caption them “Example from 2023/2024; the current Pearson VUE site may look different.” Crop or blur names, candidate IDs, registration numbers, email addresses, and ticket numbers before publishing.
Quick answers
Can I reschedule AZ-900 on the same day as the exam? Microsoft’s standard rule requires rescheduling at least 24 hours in advance. If an unexpected problem occurs later, contact the exam delivery provider for a case review.
Will an ISP letter guarantee a new exam? No. It may support a genuine incident, but Pearson VUE or the relevant exam provider decides the case.
Does this apply to AZ-104 and other Azure exams? The Microsoft scheduling policy covers Microsoft certification exams, but always check the rules for your specific appointment, voucher, and provider.
